Judaic Art
Hava Negila
My rendition on canvas is based on the original Israeli hit song "Hava Negila" which was written approximately in 1918.
Rejoice and be glad we get to live another day. I call this the "dancing painting."
Centered in the image is the Tree of Life and doves. Circled around is everyone dancing the Hora. The klezmer band, the food table, and elder people clapping and holding the Israeli flags are a part of the joyous festivities.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Rabbi Weg of Tulsa Chabad.

Little Moshe
This is from the story of Moses, when he is lifted from the Nile river by an Egyptian princess, emphasizing hope.
The original poetry was written by the artist. A portion of the proceeds go to Rabbi Weg's Chabad House.
The text around the painting and on the very bottom is from the original writings of the Haggadah.

In The Beginning
I found my God in this painting. Suddenly in class, I heard nothing, I saw nothing, and felt my body leave my mind as I worked. Tears swelled in my eyes. I knew this was beautiful - I had told the truth. I had to paint if I were to go on living and be sane.
Originallly painted in 1983.

Noah
This painting shows the scene of Noah, his family, and two sets of each animal on the Ark under the rainbow. They are waiting for the dove with the olive branch. Below are the souls that perished for not following the Noahide laws.
Deeper still is each color of the rainbow is brought forth throughout the painting including the fish representing the laws. If one follows all the commandments they will not perish. Approved by Rabbi Weg.

Echoes Of Judaism Amid
Spirits Of The Cave
This painting is a representation of primitive expression, using a traditional palette and various signs and symbols. The peculiarities of subject and style were based on the ideals of totem and the need of expression. None of this could have occurred if ancient people did not have any beliefs or paint for the sake of art alone.
Comes with writings and explanations of linking earlier civilization with modern Judaism. Part of purchase will be donated to Rabbi Weg's Chabad.
